Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Moshi | Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After a morning briefing, depart for Tarangire National Park. Known for its stunning landscapes, including vast grasslands, towering baobab trees, and the perennial Tarangire River, this park is home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Animals gather around the river, offering excellent opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and more. The park is also a haven for predators like lions, with occasional sightings of leopards and cheetahs.

Overnight: Baobab Tented Camp

Day 2: Full Day in Tarangire

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across Tarangire's open savannah, dotted with acacia woodlands and iconic baobab trees. The park is particularly known for its large elephant herds, which can number up to 600 at a time, along with wildebeest, giraffes, and buffalo. During the dry season, animals flock to the Tarangire River for water, making it a great spot for wildlife sightings.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Craterr

Start early and head to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. The crater, nearly 600 meters deep, harbors a wide variety of animals, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as gazelles, zebras, and wild dogs. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, enjoy more game viewing before heading to your lodge in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara - Arusha | Airport

After breakfast, check out and head to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s smallest parks. Despite its size, it boasts a remarkable range of habitats, from grassy plains and swamps to dense forests and mangroves. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including baboons, giraffes, and elephants. It's also a birdwatcher's paradise with over 400 bird species, including flamingos that visit the lake's shores.

After a final game drive, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar or your international departure flight.
