Itinerary
Expand allDay 1: Zanzibar to Northern Serengeti National Park
You will embark on an unforgettable safari adventure starting with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar. You will enjoy a scenic drive to the airport, where you’ll board a small plane to soar to Northern Serengeti. Upon landing at Kogatende Airstrip at 11:00 am, your private safari vehicle awaits. You will begin your exploration of Northern Serengeti by going to the Mara River to witness the crossing of the migration. After a thrilling day, you will retire to your accommodation for a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 2: Northern Serengeti National Park
You will start your day at sunrise with a full-day game drive, exploring the stunning landscapes of Northern Serengeti. While the river crossing of the Great Migration is your main focus, Northern Serengeti offers much more. The region is home to over 500 bird species, from the large ostrich and unique secretary bird of the grasslands to black eagles gliding gracefully above the savannah. After an eventful day, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 3: Northern Serengeti to Zanzibar Island
Start your final morning in the Northern Serengeti with an early game drive, enjoying the last opportunities to witness wildlife in one of Africa’s most iconic safari regions. After the game drive, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar Island.
This journey marks the conclusion of your safari, as you leave the Serengeti behind and return to Zanzibar with unforgettable memories of the Great Migration, dramatic landscapes, and incredible wildlife encounters. You will be dropped off at Zanzibar Airport upon arrival.
