Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Ele Adventures representative and introduced to your safari guide. After a short briefing about your upcoming adventure, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

The remainder of the day is reserved for relaxation after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the hotel surroundings or simply rest and prepare for the exciting safari days ahead.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most beautiful wildlife areas. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant population, enormous baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and diverse wildlife.

Upon entering the park, begin your game drive through the scenic landscapes. Keep your eyes open for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. With luck, you may also encounter predators moving through the grasslands in search of their next opportunity.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later in the day, leave Tarangire and continue towards Karatu, where you will spend the night near the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After breakfast, begin your journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. As you leave the Ngorongoro Highlands behind, the scenery gradually changes into vast open plains, creating the perfect setting for one of Tanzania's most famous safari experiences.

Enter the Serengeti and begin game viewing as you make your way towards your accommodation. The drive itself becomes part of the safari, with opportunities to spot wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, elephants, and predators along the route.

The Serengeti is particularly renowned for its population of big cats. Your guide will carefully monitor areas where lions, cheetahs, and leopards are commonly found, giving you the opportunity to experience these magnificent predators in their natural environment.

Arrive at your camp or lodge in the evening, enjoy dinner, and relax beneath the sounds of the African wilderness.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti. After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive with a particular focus on the park's famous big cats.

The early morning is often an excellent time for wildlife viewing, as predators can be active before the heat of the day. Search the plains and rocky kopjes for prides of lions, solitary leopards resting in trees or moving through the grass, and fast-moving cheetahs scanning the open plains for prey.

The Serengeti is not only about big cats. Throughout the day, you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and many different bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your exploration into the afternoon. Your guide will choose the best areas to explore according to wildlife movements, recent sightings, and the season.

Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and a relaxing night in the heart of the Serengeti.

Wake up early for another exciting morning in the Serengeti. Enjoy a final game drive through the park, taking advantage of the cooler morning hours when wildlife is often particularly active.

Continue your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife viewing and scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the crater for an unforgettable game drive.

The crater is one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations and supports a remarkable concentration of animals within its enclosed ecosystem. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated location while surrounded by the spectacular crater scenery. After the game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to your accommodation in Karatu for a well-deserved evening of relaxation.

After breakfast, begin your final journey from Karatu towards Arusha or your departure airport. Depending on your flight schedule, there may be an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed morning before starting the transfer.

Your guide will drive you safely to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar or your onward international departure, bringing your Big Cats Adventure to an end.
